Identify when the trip was interrupted

Record when the event occurred, when plans changed and what travel had already been used.

Unused prepaid arrangements

Separate the portion already consumed from the nonrefundable portion that was lost.

Additional transportation

Keep rebooking records and receipts for eligible extra transportation needed because of the interruption.

Medical events

Save provider notes and assistance records when illness or injury caused the change.

Supplier refunds

Document credits, refunds and unused ticket value because they can affect the claim.
